How to book an interpreter
Using your GRIP ID/account number, you can book an interpreter by completing the GRIP fax booking form. For NHS organisations GRIP also provides a web-based online booking system (contact us for further information).
GRIP will arrange the booking as per you specific requirements such as the gender of the interpreter, a particular dialect, the type of interview/vocabulary required, cultural and other sensitivities, a specific interpreter, etc. Interpreters can be booked Mon to Fri from 8:30am to 6pm (standard hours) or from 6pm until 8:30am and/or Bank Holidays/Weekends (out of hours).
The GRIP office hours are Mon to Fri from 9am to 5pm for you to call us about any issues related to your bookings (confirmations, fax acknowledgement, etc). Outside office hours you can leave a message on the answer phone or fax us.
